Namibia is true Nissan country, as the intrepid VISI team discovered on their trip to Windhoek in the next-generation crossover SUV Nissan Murano.
Man-behind-the-wheel Etienne Hanekom says the Murano was as comfortable as a sedan and handled the no-mercy Namib environment, including free-roaming wildlife, heat and dirt roads, with flair.
Two impressive features were the left side camera showing the front wheel and kerb area to complement the rear park predictive path-assist camera, as well as the electrical boot that opens and closes with the touch of a button on the key.
The Murano was not only spacious and comfortable but also utterly reliable, getting the team there and back with no hassle at all.
