Smart Idea: Movie Magic

Make a pocket scarf for your couch and never again will you miss out because the TV guide or remote control was nowhere to be found!

ALL YOU NEED 

• Felt in two colours of your choice – 40cm of the main colour and 30cm of the accent colour. 
• 2 metres of self-adhesive Velcro, 20mm wide. Some of the larger hardware stores also stock self-adhesive Velcro.

ALL YOU DO

Cut a pocket, 30mm x 30mm, from the accent-colour felt. Fold the top over and stick the foldover down at the sides with two short strips of Velcro. Cut three strips of Velcro the length of the sides and bottom of the pocket-to-be. Remove the protective strips from the one side of the Velcro and stick it down. Place the pocket exactly in position on the 40cm piece of felt. Remove the protective strip at the bottom first, and stick it down. Then stick down the sides. Now use the same method to make a pocket for the remote control.
