VISI loves the current wave of hugely innovative and bold lighting being produced by designers across the world. One need only look at the ingenious work of London lighting guru Tom Dixon and German designer Ingo Maurer to realize that lights have become an essential décor feature, able to radically alter the mood and character of a space.
The latest offering from Robert Thompson is a great addition to the current range of products available in South Africa – ceramic shades handmade by Pott, one of Spain’s leading pottery projects.
Small holes in the material allow for subtle, ambient light to flow from the sides, while more direct light streams through the bottom opening. We particularly like the natural texture giving these beautiful lights their unusual, sponge-like appearance; very much in keeping with the current penchant for an organic, earthy home aesthetic.
Available in multiple shades and three size options, the lights are available exclusively from Robert Thompson and start at R2152.
