Minimal Baroque by Prada

Fashionistas, take note: the new Minimal Baroque eyewear collection from Prada will soon be available in South Africa.

Taking inspiration from the Spring/Summer 2011 Prada womenswear collection, curves, friezes and bas-relief effects are the main design features of the Deluxe collection, the first Minimal Baroque range to be launched worldwide.

The choice of acetate as material seamlessly integrates the lines of the frame front and arms with the sculpted curls. The colour combinations of white and blue, white and black, and white and honey also beautifully combine with the rococo curls, reminiscent of 16th century art and architecture.

In an innovative marketing campaign, the eye-catching fashion accessories are promoted with watercolour, pastel and acrylic-paint artworks by Ivo Bisignano, Marcela Gutierrez and Andrea Tarella.
