A crew of Woodstock’s creative gents have taken over Cape Town’s Salon91 gallery for the month of October.
The gallery’s latest exhibition, simply titled The October Show, will feature the work of Paul Senyol, Jordan Metcalf, Daniel Ting Chong and Andrew Sutherland with collaborations between the artists also on show.
The all-male cast is an interesting mix as these artists all produce work that straddles the line between fine art, design and street art. Jordan and Daniel are both graphic and fine artists, Andrew is an artist and illustrator, and Paul is a street and fine artist. So, expect an interesting mix of styles.
You can also look forward to a range of mediums: wood, canvas and paper will serve as the backdrops for the pieces, with Paul and Andrew having created a painting on wood and Jordan and Daniel having collaborated on an installation cut from the same material.
The exhibition runs until 29 October at Salon91, 91 Kloof Street.
