Also a VISI reader, Karla Duterloo sent us some of her very own mosaic bokkies : "Here are some of the bokkies I made in the past year. I am also making bulls heads in the same style. The heads were on show at the Stellenbosch Dorpstraat Gallery. Most of them were sold but I am working on a new collection."

The new VISI 65 Autumn edition has landed and, well, oh bokkie… you’re gonna love it! Here’s what our content director, Sumien Brink, has to say.
Autumn is about getting comfortable and cozy; a mellow time for reflection. It’s a time for indulging in the last hot days of summer, for long walks and slowing down. It’s definitely a time for stocking up on books, looking for great Cognac glasses and statement vases. In autumn you stock up the pantry and forget about the fridge.
I know that autumn is finally here when I’m woken by the sad sound of the Green Point foghorn, and the whole city bowl is shrouded in a thick layer of fog. Annemarie Meintjes says that in Joburg, autumn is a colour, a smell, mist at dawn, and the smell of the first fires at dusk… I hope you enjoy the soft season as much as I do.
